· Manage all issues/concerns relative to HR Administration, Employee
Relations, Policy, and Benefits.
· Travels between and manages two plants
· Work with management to address personnel matters such as annual
evaluations, discipline, and termination.
· Responsible for education and training of direct support staff to
ensure their knowledge.
· Create and implement morale/team building programs and events.
· Plans and conducts staff and management development training
programs, including conducting needs assessment, preparation of program
objectives, develops course materials and training aids and delivers.
· Develop and implement plant safety incentive programs.
· Conduct plant safety audits
· Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
· Keep up-to-date employment records and
files.
· Communicate and develop new policies and procedures.
· Investigates discrimination complaints and assists in the resolution
of employee grievances.
· Administers pay system and programs.
· Screen and interview potential employee candidates
· Practices and adhere to our “Code of Conduct” philosophy and
“Mission and Value Statement.
· Work with PeopleSoft, Imaginera, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Corporate projects include but not limited to;
New Hire Orientation, Safety Incentive Plans, HR & Safety Roundtables
and Power Point Presentation.
